Summary of position-We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to lead efforts in analyzing market demand and dynamic pricing across the private jet charter ecosystem. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping our pricing algorithms, demand forecasts, and sourcing strategies that directly power our charter broker platform. Essential Duties & Responsibilities-Develop and maintain pricing models that reflect real-time supply, demand, and market conditions.Analyze historical booking patterns, aircraft availability, and operational costs to optimize instant-book pricing logic.Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and revenue teams to design data-driven pricing features and dashboards.Use machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics to forecast user demand and route popularity.Automate data collection pipelines sourcing from internal systems, aviation APIs, and third-party data providers.Design A/B tests and performance metrics to evaluate the success of pricing and recommendation models.Translate scientific insights into actionable strategies that improve conversion rates, margin, and user satisfaction.Build customer segmentation models to enable personalized experiences and targeted marketingTrack and report on key performance metrics including conversion rates, average booking value, and customer lifetime valueRequirements:Requirements-Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.8 years of experience in applied data science, ideally in travel, mobility, logistics, or dynamic marketplace environments.Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and analytical libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch).Experience designing and deploying pricing or forecasting models in production environments.Excellent understanding of time-series analysis, demand elasticity modeling, and revenue optimization.Proven ability to communicate complex models in clear, business-relevant terms.Familiarity with aviation or charter scheduling data is a strong plus.Schedule & Travel-The typical work schedule includes five 8-hour shifts assigned to one of the established schedules within the department. Nights, weekends and/or holidays may be required to support the needs of the organization.
