Job Summary:
The Packaging Machine Operator (AHP) plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of packaging processes within a regulated manufacturing environment. This position requires keen attention to quality, compliance, and operational standards, offering the opportunity to work cross-functionally as part of a high-performing operations team. The role is temp-to-hire, located onsite in Columbus, OH, and provides hands-on training for rapid onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery, including troubleshooting minor issues and escalating as needed
- Stage and prepare packaging materials and equipment for each production run
- Decommission products through barcode scanning, cap removal, and safe disposal
- Fill cartons, ensure label sterility, confirm sterilization data, operate tape machine, and palletize finished goods
- Maintain documentation and compliance records accurately throughout production runs
- Perform routine sanitation and cleaning of production area and equipment
- Adhere strictly to cGMPs, safety protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with team members and quality personnel to resolve production or quality issues
- Demonstrate manual dexterity and lift/handle products averaging 25lbs (up to 35lbs)
- Complete all required training and participate in ongoing compliance programs
