- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with drivers and operations staff
- Maintain cold chain integrity for all shipments, including those on FDA hold
- Track and replenish packaging inventory and ensure gel packs are properly pre-conditioned and stored
- Monitor shipment notes and gateway communications — responding and actioning requests quickly
- Oversee live animal shipments held in the gateway to ensure proper care standards are met
- Manage the airport dispatch board and flag any special delivery instructions
- Answer phones, support drivers with directions, and escalate complaints to management immediately
- Background in import/export operations — air freight experience is a strong plus
- Familiarity with airway bills and export documentation processes
- Experience in a logistics, freight, or warehouse environment where attention to detail and urgency matter
- Understanding of cold chain or temperature-sensitive shipping (or willingness to learn it fast)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and picking up internal systems quickly
- Ability to lift 25–70 lbs as needed
- Flexible availability Monday–Friday, first or second shift, with weekend availability required
- Strong communicator who can juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball
- In-person interview required
- Training will begin with packaging processes and temperature-controlled procedures
- Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; shift may adjust after training
