Lead Teacher Early Childhood Classroom

Elements Montessori is urgently seeking an EEC Certified Lead Teacher to join us for the academic year beginning the week of August 25, 2025. Candidates with their Montessori Early Childhood credentials will be favored. If you are currently in a Montessori training course, we are interested in hosting your internship. EEC Lead Teacher qualifications are a must. If you are seeking a part time position, hours are Tuesday – Thursday, 8:00 – 1:30. If you are seeking full time hours are 8:00 - 3:30 with opportunities to add Mondays and/or Fridays. Competitive Salary is based upon experience and qualifications. Elements is licensed to serve 20 children between 2.9 years old through kindergarten. We foster peaceful and kind social interactions, an appreciation for the power of community and environmental stewardship, a lifelong love for learning, and the capacity to think critically and make thoughtful decisions. All classroom Guides are supported in their professional passions and growth. Responsibilities include, ensuring the safety and happiness of each child, modelling Grace and Courtesy, preparing, tidying up and maintaining pristine conditions in the classroom and outdoor environments, tone keeping, making observations, record keeping, and preparing for home – school conferences, participation in refreshing the classroom shelves (typically on the last Monday of every month), maintaining Elements’ presence on social media and creating weekly pictorial newsletters. Computer skills and social media prowess are huge pluses.
