What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Sub - 1.0 Teacher - Rodman Early Childhood position at Rodman Early Childhood Program?
The Rodman Early Childhood Preschool is seeking a full time (5 days per week) teacher. This is a long term substitute position with estimated dates of October 2025 to November 2025. This teaching position is committed to promoting equity, a sense of belonging, and fostering academic and personal success for all students. We are an integrated Preschool with a dedicated and skilled faculty and staff.
In this role, the teacher reports directly to the Early Childhood Director and is a member of the Rodman teaching team.
Performance Responsibilities:

Following and implementing the existing curriculum and lesson plans.

Adapting activities and materials to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with special needs.

Delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons that align with developmental goals.

Conducting individual and small-group instruction.

Monitoring student progress and documenting observations.

Collaborating with support staff (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists, paraprofessionals) to implement student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Must hold valid and current MA certification in special education, early childhood
- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Master degree preferred
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
