OPEN POSITION: Hybrid Paraprofessional / Latchkey - ELEMENTARY
START DATE: 2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR
SALARY: $18.09
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hybrid position combines the responsibilities of a Special Education Paraprofessional and Latchkey Lead. As a Special Education Paraprofessional, the role involves providing support to special education teachers and students, assisting with instructional activities, including working directly with children. In Latchkey, responsibilities include overseeing activities and ensuring the safety and engagement of children at the latchkey site.
180-day position
HOURS:
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM – this shift would begin at Latchkey and transition to Paraprofessional at the start of the school day.
- 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM – this shift would begin as Paraprofessional and transition to Latchkey at the end of the school day.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Missouri Substitute Certificate required
- Prefer prior experience working with children
- Effective oral and written communication skills
