Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Baton Rouge, LA, for an Intake Coordinator. The Intake Coordinator will manage incoming patient inquiries, coordinate initial screenings, and provide exceptional customer service to clients and their families. Responsibilities include facilitating the intake process, verifying insurance information, utilizing medical terminology, and maintaining accurate case management records. The role also involves working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Knowledge and experience in Case Management processes, including maintaining client records and coordinating services
- Familiarity with Medical Terminology and understanding of insurance policies and procedures
- Ability to work with attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in relevant computer systems and software for scheduling and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
