Safety is second nature, and teamwork keeps production goals within reach.
A day in this roleYou will move between setup, operation, and inspection—staying alert to machine behavior and product quality. You’ll collaborate with your team, communicate issues early, and maintain a tidy, safe workspace. By shift’s end, your documentation is complete, and your area is clean and ready for the next run.
Core responsibilities- Configure, operate, and closely monitor manufacturing machinery per job instructions and specifications.
- Examine output to verify it meets quality standards and dimensional requirements.
- Perform routine adjustments and promptly escalate equipment problems to maintenance.
- Stage and load raw materials; unload and remove finished goods from machines.
- Keep the work area orderly, clean, and compliant with safety expectations.
- Accurately fill out production logs, checklists, and related records.
- Adhere to all safety rules and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Partner with teammates and supervisors to achieve daily production targets.
- 1–2 years of hands-on machine operation in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfort standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for the duration of the shift.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills for minor adjustments.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders.
- Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Background in a production or manufacturing facility.
- Experience using measuring tools and performing basic quality checks.
- Forklift familiarity is a plus (not required).
