APAR Clerk

Location: Hartford, CT

Pay: $24/hour

Shift: 1st Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented AP/AR Clerk to join a growing manufacturing organization in Hartford, CT. This position will support daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with general accounting and administrative tasks.

• Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Enter and maintain financial data in the company’s accounting/ERP system.
• Reconcile invoices, payments, and account balances.
• Assist with customer and vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
• Prepare and maintain accounting documentation and records.
• Support month-end closing activities and other accounting tasks as needed.
• Ensure accurate filing and organization of financial records.

• Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar accounting role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
• Manufacturing or ERP experience is a plus.
• Entry-level candidates and recent graduates with relevant education or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
