Position: SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Finance (FICO) modules and testing methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for functional configuration, test case design, and execution using ALM or similar tools, ensuring the stability and accuracy of financial processes within SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business users to gather and analyze requirements in SAP FI/CO (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, etc.).
• Perform functional configuration and support of SAP Finance processes.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Manage testing activities using HP ALM / SAP Solution Manager — including defect logging, tracking, and reporting.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist end users with test preparation and execution.
• Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration) to resolve issues and ensure proper end-to-end functionality.
• Participate in release management, validation, and production support as required.
• Provide documentation for functional configurations, test cases, and results.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules.
• Strong knowledge of SAP financial processes such as GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.
• Proven experience in SAP Testing — including test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Experience with HP ALM, SAP Solution Manager, or similar test management tools.
• Solid understanding of integration points with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PS, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools (CBTA, Tricentis Tosca, etc.) is a plus.
• Exposure to month-end / year-end closing and financial reporting processes.
• Experience in validation and audit testing environments preferred.
