Title: Recruiter – Life Sciences
Location: Orange County, California
The Recruiter will assist Element’s Southern California office to achieve staffing objectives by sourcing, evaluating and placing job candidates for a variety of scientific and technical positions. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that is focused on providing first class service to both clients and candidates. Southern California residents only.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle recruiting – source, screen, test, interview, and place candidates for temporary, temporary to hire, payroll, and direct placement positions.
- Source candidates for open roles and future opportunities using job boards, databases, and recruiting tools.
- Create and modify documents in MS Word, including resumes and other HR type documents
- Post jobs on different platforms and assess resumes for job fit.
- Assist with social media posting for team members on LinkedIn, Facebook, or other social media platforms.
- Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates and gain commitment for their job requirements.
- Complete necessary pre-employment processes, including reference checks, background checks, drug screening, physicals, and other client requirements.
- Meet or exceed individual goals and metrics related to phone calls, candidate interviews, placements, targeted revenue, profitability, and growth.
- Manage contract employees while on assignment.
- Maintain ATS and company database with candidate information, qualifications, and other information.
- On occasion, attend on-site client meetings with business development personnel to learn about staffing needs and build rapport with key client contacts.
- Work as team player with all staff members and support all staff members as instructed by Element management.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the staffing industry
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Outstanding time management, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
- Ability to multi-task and change priorities regularly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Team spirit and service-oriented mindset
