Position Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Proficient typing and PC skills
- Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by greeting and assisting both patients and visitors in a friendly, welcoming and compassionate manner.
- Answer patient inquiries and provide accurate information regarding appointments, services, and policies.
- Answer multi-line phone in a timely manner.
- Respond to emails that arrive using our general office email address.
- Conduct patient interviews to ensure all required paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Utilize MedInformatix software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients.
- Verify that insurance information is complete and accurate.
- Register new patients and update necessary records.
- Interact with referral sources to provide information regarding patient care.
- Process patient payments in office.
- Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and coworkers to resolve issues and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the computer system with attention to detail.
- Adapt to changes in procedures, schedules, and patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow established company policies in regard to attendance, appearance and service.
- Maintain confidentiality of facility and patient information in accordance to company policy.
