Overview
Element has an opening for a Lab Assistant position at our Bend, OR facility. The main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to performing lab work supporting Extractable and Leachable (E&L) testing. The position requires working in a collaborative manner to support laboratory team members to accomplish organizational goals. The Lab Technician will also contribute to our continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S projects.

Responsibilities
- Labware cleaning
- Lab stocking
- Standard and project disposal
- Lab inventory checks
- Perform general laboratory maintenance activities
- Waste handling/management
- Various laboratory support functions
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
- The lab assistant is an entry-level position with responsibility to provide laboratory support functions. As a result, previous hands-on laboratory experience is preferred.
- Key qualifications/skills: Strong organizational skills, Excellent communication abilities, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) experience, Good management skills, Positive team oriented attitude.
