Job Summary
ELEGRP North America Inc. is seeking a results-driven Channel Sales Manager based in Atlanta, GA, to oversee our largest and most strategic retail partners. We are a leading innovator of portable protective device solutions (GFCI, ALCI, LCDI), lighting controls, smart home devices and electrical wiring devices. This person will be responsible for setting sales goals, devising sales strategies, and effectively achieving sales targets. This role is critical to driving growth and expanding ELEGRP North America’s market share within the US. This role also requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of customer relationship management.
We are looking for an individual who has experience managing national retail partners and has a proven track record of implementing and executing strategic account planning and delivering measurable results. The ideal candidate would have experience working in the electrical wiring device industry and a skillset to build trust with existing customers while managing expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Channel Sales Manager will report to the Sales Director and will primarily focus on tracking sales data, identifying areas for improvement, and making adjustments as needed. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with top-tier retail accounts through attentive account management and customer engagement.
- Create realistic forecasts, revenue targets and execute sales plans that align with company goals.
- Monitor and analyze account performance to identify areas for improvement and provide regular reporting to leadership.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize strategies and identify upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to ensure seamless execution of programs and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Track active issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements.
- Input and maintain customer records, customer interactions, and sales data in the CRM software system.
- Represent ELEGRP North America at trade shows, events, and key meetings.
- Become an expert on company product offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years in key account management, enterprise sales, or customer success.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to generate accurate reports, analyze data, and develop actionable insights.
- Ability to problem-solve issues logically and methodically.
- Understands margins and pricing in relation to how a discount may impact gross margin and lifetime value.
- Record of setting aggressive sales plans and achieving ambitious targets.
- Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with sales team members, customers, and other stakeholders for building strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- A self-motivated team player with a high level of dedication.
