You will build, repair, and troubleshoot tools, dies, and fixtures using standard tool room equipment, working from blueprints and verbal instructions to meet tight specifications and quality standards

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and fabricate dies, molds, tools, and fixtures from sketches, blueprints, specs, and models
• Set up and operate machine tools; assemble, finish, and adjust parts and fixtures
• Verify part dimensions using dial indicators, gauge blocks, calipers, and micrometers
• Diagnose and repair issues on manually operated and progressive dies, molds, and tools
• Design templates and jigs to aid fabrication
• Select appropriate metals and materials and run tests, adjusting tools as needed
• Partner with internal teams and suppliers to resolve production and quality issues
