Electroswitch is seeking a Production Planner to support manufacturing operations by developing and maintaining production schedules, coordinating material availability, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers. This role plays a key part in balancing production demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity while working closely with cross-functional teams across operations, purchasing, and supply chain.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment using ERP/MRP systems and possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage production planning activities within ERP/MRP systems to support manufacturing schedules
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
- Coordinate production priorities based on customer demand, material availability, labor, and equipment capacity
- Monitor and support on-time delivery performance (OTIF)
- Expedite materials, components, and purchased parts to support production requirements
- Identify and help resolve production bottlenecks, backorders, and supply constraints
- Perform inventory and production planning analysis to improve material utilization and delivery performance
- Troubleshoot planning and system-related issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop planning reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Lookup functions
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing, supply chain, and other departments to support production goals
- Support and assist with training and coaching of supply chain team members as needed
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
