Machinist 2:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Can write program and setup WEDM
- Can write program and setup Hole Pop
- Perform troubleshooting of mechanical, quality, and process issues.
- Achieve and maintain tolerances below .0005 independently.
- Collaborate with quality and engineering to resolve quality issues.
- Train and mentor Machinists 1 and Operators.
- Document and refine setup procedures and standard work instructions.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with machine repair and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standards.
- Maintain autonomous maintenance schedule.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years machining experience.
- Expert in precision machining and tolerances below .0005.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience writing G and M Codes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience using AutoCAD.
Machinist 3 (Lead):
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standards.
- Machine operations of the WEDM Cell
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, setups, quality, and process issues by performing root cause analysis and provide recommendations.
- Document and refine procedures and standard work instructions.
- Able to lead a team of associates to execute improvement projects.
- Achieve and maintain tolerances below .0005 independently
- Collaborate with quality and engineering to resolve quality issues.
- Assist with machine repair and preventive maintenance.
- Manage department autonomous maintenance schedule and adherence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Expert in precision machining and tolerances below .0005.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with G Code/CNC programming.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with AutoCAD.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.
Weekend Shift - 36 hours
2nd shift - 40 hrs
