Job Summary:

Operator 2 performs advanced production processes and operates various machines including chamfering, scoring, slot, honing, and crack detection equipment. Operator 2 works more independently and assists with achieving quality tolerances.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Operate Hone without setup 
• Operate Centerless Grind without setup 
• Operate and set up Double Disc  

OR

• Perform Mechanical inspection. 
• Perform magnet inspection and slot operations. 
• Set up and operate chamfer and score 

Desired additional operations: 

• Operate and set up Centerless Grind or Hone. 
• Operate and set up Double Disc holding tight tolerances. 
• Operate without setup the CNC Drill.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: 

• Works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and occasional noise.
• Requires standing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for detailed work and operation of machinery.
• Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with safety and quality regulations.

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience. 
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
• Ability to read and interpret part prints.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
