Job Summary:
Press Operator 2 performs advanced production processes in either Axial or ISO/TVP. Operator works more independently and is required to hit 80% of the production rate.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Required:
- Fully trained to set up either Axial or ISO/TVP
- Fully trained to run either Axial or ISO/TVP
- Ensures parts are in tolerance using a micrometer
- Expected to hit 80% of Production Rate.
- Is proficient with Epicor
- Maintains housekeeping standards.
- Maintains Autonomous Maintenance Standards
- Follow all safety and quality standards.
- Ensure cleanliness of work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
- Ability to read and interpret part prints.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

- Capable of lifting and transporting an average weight of 10 lbs., up to a maximum of 40 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity and near visual acuity.
- Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with quality and safety regulations.
1st Shift - Monday through Friday 6:30 am -3:00 pm ; 2nd Shift - Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm -1:30 am
1st Shift - 40 hours ; 2nd Shift - 40 hours
