Press Operator (1st/2nd Shift)

Job Summary: 

Press Operator 2 performs advanced production processes in either Axial or ISO/TVP. Operator works more independently and is required to hit 80% of the production rate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Required:

• Fully trained to set up either Axial or ISO/TVP 
• Fully trained to run either Axial or ISO/TVP 
• Ensures parts are in tolerance using a micrometer 
• Expected to hit 80% of Production Rate. 
• Is proficient with Epicor 
• Maintains housekeeping standards.  
• Maintains Autonomous Maintenance Standards 
• Follow all safety and quality standards.  
• Ensure cleanliness of work area.  

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.  
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers). 
• Ability to read and interpret part prints.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: 

• Works in a clean, well-lit production environment; requires protective footwear and eyewear. 
• Regularly stands on cement floors with rubber mats; may involve sitting, stooping, bending, and walking. 
• Capable of lifting and transporting an average weight of 10 lbs., up to a maximum of 40 lbs. 
• Requires manual dexterity and near visual acuity. 
• Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with quality and safety regulations.
