What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician- 1st / Weekend Shift position at Electron Energy Corporation?
Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position
An employee in this position is responsible to provide preventative and repair maintenance for facilities and equipment, installation of new equipment, support process improvement as directed by the Manager, Maintenance.
Major Functions:
1. Safety
2. Baseline knowledge of following:
- Electrical
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Vacuum
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Welding
- Painting
- Snow Removal
3. Preventative Maintenance
4. Repair maintenance (machinery and building)
5. New Equipment/Modifications
6. Support Process Improvement and Engineering projects
7. Requires On-call duty
Qualifications
- High school diploma, plus specialized training, certification. or a two-year degree
- 2-5 years' maintenance experience in manufacturing
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and occasional noise.
- Requires standing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
1st shift- Monday through Friday, 6:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Weekend Shift - Friday through Sunday, 6:30 am - 7:00 pm
1st Shift - 40 hours per week
Weekend Shift - 36 hours per week
Salary : $34 - $38
