Position: Human Resources Specialist Job Type: Full-Time Hourly Pay: $20 - $25 per hour DOE Electroimpact is seeking one person for the business office which includes Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Payroll, and Human Resources. This team is approximately 8 people in size and works closely together. To qualify for this position, you must be able to: Communicate in written and spoken English in a professional manner, both in person and electronically Demonstrate administrative writing skills, basic math skills, and comprehensive reading skills Work independently and collaborate as part of a team, with minimum supervision Able to navigate employee relations Embrace learning new skills Have a clear understanding of local and federal employment and health insurance laws (FLSA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, COBRA, USERRA, ACA, ect.) 5 years experience preferred Bachelors is human resources OR SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHS/SPHR is a plus Able to be agile in a fast pace environment This position encompasses but is not limited to the following responsibilities: Research and respond to both management and employee inquiries Help coordinate annual health plan renewals Manage employee leave (FMLA/PFML) Assist and advise in the development of amendments to policies and procedures Maintain OSHA logs and injury reports Manage L&I Claims Answer and direct phone calls Microsoft dynamics experience preferred but not required Stay up to date with current legislative changes Ideal candidates will lead by example; be flexible; think critically about their work; maintain a high level of organization; multi-task or quickly switch from one task to another; accept direct criticism and respond in a professional manner.
