About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Technical Writer
to join our Technical Communications team. Reporting to the Technical Communications Team Lead, you will play a key role in drafting, editing, and producing high-quality technical publications that support our engineering and operational requirements.
Job Description
What You'll Do
Create and edit technical documentation including:
Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETPs)
- Operator & Maintenance Manuals
- Illustrated Parts Catalogues
Manufacturing Process Instructions
Ensure compliance with ASD S1000D standards using the R4i Suite and associated publishing tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams locally and internationally to capture requirements.
- Work cross-functionally with Project, ILS, Training, and Maintenance teams to deliver accurate and timely publications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and other duties as required.
Desired Skills And Experience
What We're Looking For
- Degree qualification in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in technical writing or documentation roles.
- Strong knowledge of Defence Industry Technical Publication Standards.
- Experience within CASG environments highly desirable.
- Ability to obtain AGSVA Baseline Clearance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a detail-oriented and process-driven approach.
