Role & Responsibilities
Deliver engaging hands-on and classroom instruction that prepares students with the electrical knowledge, practical skills, and safety habits needed for successful entry-level careers in the electrical industry.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong electrical field experience.
- The ability to teach both hands-on labs and classroom theory.
- Excellent communication, connection and leadership skills.
- A passion for mentoring and developing the next generation of electricians.
- Prior teaching or training experience is a plus—but not required. We can train the right candidate to become an effective instructor.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
Experience with some or all of the following:
- Introduction to the Electrical Trade
- National Electrical Code (NEC) navigation and code awareness
- Electrical Theory
- Electrical Circuits
- Ohm's Law
- Schematics and Electrical Measurements
- Conductors and Cables
- Device Boxes and Wiring Methods
- Raceway Systems and Fittings
- Alternating Current (AC)
- Transformers
- HVAC Electrical Controls
- Thermostats
- Electrical Troubleshooting
