You will work closely with various departments and teams to ensure effective HR operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of HR activities, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.

Major Expectations & Accountabilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding – Manage full-cycle recruiting (posting, screening, interviewing, offers) and oversee onboarding to ensure smooth new hire integration.
- Employee Relations – Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries and concerns, handling conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues in line with policies and laws.
- Performance & Development – Support goal setting, performance reviews, and improvement plans; identify training needs and coordinate learning and professional development initiatives.
- Benefits & Compliance – Administer benefit programs, assist employees with related questions, and ensure compliance with employment laws, recordkeeping, and confidentiality standards.
- Policies & HR Operations – Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
- Data & Projects – Analyze HR data and metrics to inform decision-making, while leading or contributing to HR projects such as engagement initiatives and process improvements.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
- A Human Resources background spanning all aspects of the discipline, including employee relations, compensation, talent management, coaching/consulting with leaders, learning and recruiting.
- Proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively throughout the day.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a keen sense for detail.
Qualifications Set You Apart
- Relevant experience in the commercial construction industry.
- Proficiency with HR Technology and business software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Arcoro/Birddog HR, Employee Navigator/EASE, and Sage 100 Contractor.

Compensation Range for our HR Manager Role
- Starting compensation is based on your relevant job experience.
- This role is exempt and paid a salary.
- The starting annual salary range for this position is based on the candidate's level of experience and would range from $90,000 to $115,000 annually.
Physical Requirements/Essential Functions
- Must maintain regular and reliable attendance at a level acceptable to the company, including the ability to work holidays, evenings, or weekends as necessary.
- Be able to give and receive detailed information through verbal and written communication.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Sitting, standing, bending, walking un-even surfaces, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
