Summary
We are looking for a strong technical leader to oversee maintenance, automation, utilities, engineering, and continuous improvement operations at a large high-speed food manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building teams, improving plant performance, reducing downtime, and driving operational excellence.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading plant maintenance, automation, utilities, wastewater, and engineering teams
- Driving TPM and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
- Improving equipment reliability and plant efficiency
- Managing MRO inventory, budgets, and spare parts programs
- Supporting capital projects and continuous improvement efforts
- Partnering closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams
- Developing engineers, technicians, and maintenance leaders
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, GMP, environmental, and safety standards
- Reducing downtime and improving overall plant performance
What We’re Looking For
- 8 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- 3 years leading maintenance, technical services, automation, or utilities teams
- Food, dairy, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong PLC and high-speed manufacturing equipment knowledge
- Experience with automation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reliability programs
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience preferred
- Experience managing maintenance budgets and plant improvement projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Background
- Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related degree preferred
- HACCP and food safety knowledge
- ERP / MRP systems experience
