Electric Service of Colorado, Inc's Service Department specializes in commercial and light industrial service and maintenance projects in the Pikes Peak region.

We are looking for an experienced Service Department Manager. In this role you will manage the performance of electrical work not limited to inspection on wiring, fixtures, outlets, switchgear and other electrical components. You will manage the replacement and repair of electrical equipment and devices as required by the customer. You must maintain a deep understanding of building code regulations to check and ensure compliance with the highest standards of building design and construction. you must have experience managing a small service department with skills in sales, scheduling and crew management.

Success in this role will be demonstrated by employing effective process controls to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems, effective team management, department profitability and growth and total customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Service Manager preferably in the Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing industry
  • Proven experience in service department management
  • Sales and customer interface experience
  • Strong knowledge of service department systems
  • Experience in revenue generation and department growth
  • Understanding of local and national electrical codes
  • Effective leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • (Preferred) Valid Colorado Journeyman or Master License or the ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • OSHA 10

Responsibilities

  • This individual will lead the service department team, oversee service operations, and drive performance in commercial, industrial and residential electrical service projects
  • Lead the Electrical Service Department through calculated month over month growth
  • Manage day-to-day service department operations including dispatch, scheduling, billing, and quality control
  • Provide field support and technical expertise in commercial, industrial and residential environments
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, code, and regulatory requirements (NEC, OSHA, AHJ)
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding service work, emergency work and support
  • Manage service techs and department staff
  • Collaborate with leadership to create growth strategies, pricing models, and standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate and/or prepare and deliver service project quotes and proposals
  • Maintain and manage service equipment, tools, and inventory
  • Track job progress, budgets, and ensure profitability of the service department
  • Conduct regular job site visits to ensure workmanship and customer satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time Salary

Pay: Starting at $75,000.00
