Eldredge, Inc. is a transportation and waste management company in West Chester, PA specializing in industrial and commercial clients in the mid-Atlantic region and nationwide. Some of our services include, but are not limited to: waste management, transportation, disposal, remediation and treatment processes, environmental consulting, field services, reporting, and compliance.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Daily work will involve operating CDL Class A van trailers and roll offs trailers out of West Chester, PA.
• Drive Tankers & Vac Trucks as needed.
• Responsible for the inspection, pickup and delivery of roll off containers.
• Perform work in coordination with the Dispatcher and the Customer.
• Participate in any technical and safety training provided by Eldredge and abide by the guidelines presented.
• Interact with customers and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner.
• Complete required DOT logs, driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs), manifests, bills of lading, and environmental documentation accurately and on time.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment and materials safely.
• Wear personnel protective equipment (PPE) as defined by policy, regulations, practice, and customer
• Adhere to all traffic, health and safety, and environmental local, state, and federal regulations.
• Compile required daily paperwork.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Driver's License CDL A Required with Tanker & HazMat Endorsements
• Must have 2 years of experience with CDL A - Roll-Offs/Trailers
• Must be able to understand and follow written and oral instructions and assignments
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment and annual physical examination
• Must be able to pass a Background/ Drug test (background goes back 7yrs)
• High school or equivalent educational requirement
• Basic computer, tablet, and smartphone skills including email, call/texts, searches, Microsoft products, Windows computers, GPS systems
• May occasionally require lifting up to 60 lbs; pulling/pushing, carrying, climbing, walking, standing, sitting, grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, crouching; sit/stand for extended periods.
