Role Description Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) at ElderCare of Bemidji provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and senior living environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs and health status, documenting care, and communicating changes in condition to the supervising nurse and care team. LPNs support residents with daily living activities, follow individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to promote comfort, safety, and well-being. The role also involves educating residents and families about care, maintaining infection control standards, and participating in quality improvement efforts. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mountain Iron, MN.

Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of Minnesota and eligibility to practice nursing in good standing.
- Experience providing direct patient or resident care in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings.
- Knowledge of medication administration, basic nursing procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Ability to recognize and report changes in resident condition and follow established care plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to person-centered care, respect for resident rights, and adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, and to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring residents safely.
- CPR certification and familiarity with electronic health records are preferred.
- Prior experience in senior living or geriatric care is beneficial but not required.
