Position Summary
We are seeking a part-time Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing primary care team. This position is ideal for a clinician who values continuity of care and enjoys working in a rural outpatient setting with a focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
You'll see a manageable volume of patients in a well-supported clinical environment with experienced nursing and administrative staff. No hospital call, weekends, or after-hours duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits.
- Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, and care coordination teams to ensure integrated patient care.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks (ECW) EHR for documentation and care management workflows.
- Participate in quality improvement and value-based care initiatives.
- Provide supervision and support for nurse practitioners as needed (if applicable).
Qualifications
- MD or DO with training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active Tennessee medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current DEA registration.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient relationship skills.
- Experience with Rural Health Clinic operations or value-based care preferred but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: 1 day per week (flexible day; outpatient only).
- Hours: Typical clinic day (8 AM – 5 PM).
- Compensation: Competitive hourly or per diem rate, commensurate with experience.
- No call or weekend requirements
Salary : $120,000 - $180,000
