What are the responsibilities and job description for the H+G Leader position at Elder's ACE Hardware?
- Responsible for opening and/or closing the store as dictated by schedule.
- Responsible for receiving and pricing all department merchandise, including socking.
- Responsible for receiving and reporting all damaged goods to office and vendors
- Maintain Home and Gift Department is clean organized and fully stocked
- Exemplifies creativity for all product mixes withing department following product guidelines.
- Execute daily operations goals/priorities assigned to you and move with “Ace Pace”
- Removed and add promotional bin tags from displays and price tags as required
- Restock merchandise displays as needed, watch end caps and side wings
- Responsible for monitoring department email and responding accordingly
- Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
- In the absence of management staff, serves as the “Manager on Duty” by directing the store team, and adhering to company directed policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
- Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
- Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
- Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
- Interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards.
