The Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District is seeking a progressive, innovative Fire Prevention Program Manager to help strengthen and modernize our prevention bureau. This part-time role (20–25 hours/week) oversees fire inspections, plan reviews, pre-planning, water system testing, and compliance activities across our growing district.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee fire inspections, plan reviews, and pre-plan programs
- Lead hydrant flow testing, water main witnessing, and system inspections
- Maintain documentation, data, and false alarm compliance
- Supervise inspectors and third-party administrators
- Support district-wide problem-solving and customer service
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years fire prevention experience
- Fire Inspector I & II
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- NFPA 1037 or equivalent
- Fire Investigation Experience
- Public Life Safety Educator
- Illinois Public School Inspector
Juvenile Firesetter Interventionist
Leadership or supervisory experience
