Role Description The HR Coordinator II is a full-time, on-site role based in Merrimack, NH. This role supports day-to-day HR operations, including administering employee onboarding and offboarding, maintaining employee records, and assisting with HRIS data entry and updates. The HR Coordinator II helps coordinate benefits and leave administration, supports payroll-related documentation, and responds to routine employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures. The role also assists with recruitment activities, such as posting jobs, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and supporting background check processes. In addition, the HR Coordinator II helps organize training sessions and HR-related events, prepares reports and metrics for HR leadership, and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Qualifications

  • Experience with core HR operations, including employee onboarding/offboarding, HR documentation, and maintaining accurate HRIS records.
  • Skills in recruitment coordination, such as managing job postings, scheduling interviews, and supporting candidate communications and pre-employment processes.
  • Ability to support benefits and leave administration, assisting employees with questions and coordinating with internal and external partners as needed.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills to handle multiple priorities and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and confidentially with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency with office productivity and HR tools (e.g., HRIS, applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office or similar software).
  • Knowledge of basic employment law and HR compliance practices; experience in a government, defense, or manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Typically, an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant HR experience.
