Duties

• Assemble components accurately using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments according to technical drawings and production documents
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials within the manufacturing facility
• Conduct manual handling of heavy parts and materials, adhering strictly to safety protocols for lifting and moving loads
• Interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and process documentation to ensure correct product assembly
• Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to maintain high standards of product integrity
• Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements in workflow or safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety standards in production environments

Requirements

• Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of assembly line operations
• Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings
• Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely within a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with manufacturing management systems and production document interpretation
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocol adherence
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies is preferred
• Strong safety awareness, with a commitment to following safety standards in production environments
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and managing production or assembly teams when needed
