Duties
- Assemble components accurately using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments according to technical drawings and production documents
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials within the manufacturing facility
- Conduct manual handling of heavy parts and materials, adhering strictly to safety protocols for lifting and moving loads
- Interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and process documentation to ensure correct product assembly
- Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to maintain high standards of product integrity
- Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements in workflow or safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety standards in production environments
Requirements
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of assembly line operations
- Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely within a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with manufacturing management systems and production document interpretation
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocol adherence
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies is preferred
- Strong safety awareness, with a commitment to following safety standards in production environments
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and managing production or assembly teams when needed
