Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of landscapes, lawns, athletic fields, parking lots, and sidewalks.
- Direct and supervise the work of assigned grounds crew staff in a safe and professional manner.
- Monitor work order system regularly and delegate tasks to appropriate individuals.
- Assist in safety training of Grounds Crew members.
- Communicate effectively with Campus Community members and company management.
- Flexible availability to accommodate campus events and winter plowing requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in landscape, athletic field management, or snowplowing.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Crew Leader/Foreperson.
- Ability to lead a team of 3 or more.
- Proficient heavy equipment operating skills.
- Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, turf, evergreens, and trees.
- NYS Commercial Applicator or Technician Certification category 3A is preferred but not required.
- Ability to do physical work in all climates for 8-10 hours per day and lift 50 lbs.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.

Compensation
Salary: $55,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year, based on experience.
