We are seeking an experienced compensation professional to design, manage, and optimize our total rewards programs. In this role, you will play a key part in developing competitive and fair pay structures that help attract, motivate, and retain top talent across the organization. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of compensation initiatives, including the design and ongoing administration of base pay, incentive plans, commissions, bonuses, and equity programs.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and internal equity reviews to ensure our compensation offerings remain competitive and aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the evaluation of roles through job analysis, create and update job descriptions, and maintain accurate job classifications.
- Participate in and analyze external salary surveys, benchmark our pay practices against the market, and recommend adjustments to salary structures.
- Perform in-depth analyses on complex compensation topics such as sales incentives, variable pay plans, equity compensation, and other specialized programs.
- Develop data-driven recommendations, prepare insightful presentations for leadership, and support decision-making with clear alternatives and supporting rationale.
- Review and enhance existing compensation processes and tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience; lead the implementation of identified improvements.
- Serve as a trusted compensation advisor to HR business partners and leaders at all levels, providing expert guidance on pay-related matters.
- Support the rollout and communication of compensation programs, including the creation and delivery of training sessions for HR and managers.
- Address compensation compliance issues, conduct investigations as needed, and propose practical solutions.
- Provide mentorship and project guidance to more junior members of the compensation team.
Requirements:
- 5 years of progressive experience in compensation program design and administration.
- Degree in Business Management or Human Resources Management is preferred.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar credential is a strong plus but not required.
- Proven project management skills, particularly in leading HR or compensation-related initiatives.
- Excellent consulting, influencing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with a talent for logical problem-solving and sound reasoning.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data modeling, analysis, and reporting.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for creating compelling presentations.
- Familiarity with Access databases or other data management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
