Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation by chopping ingredients, assembling dishes, and organizing supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary workspace.
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and clearing serving areas.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to meet health and safety regulations.
- Buss tables and assist with basic food service duties as needed to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Strong attention to detail in cleaning and food prep activities.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward hospitality service.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking or food preparation skills is a plus.
