Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to ensure product availability and profitability
- Oversee merchandising, marketing initiatives, and store presentation to enhance customer experience and drive sales
- Implement effective inventory management practices to reduce shrinkage and optimize stock levels
Experience
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (POS), retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Works well with teammates and aims to accomplish a main goal.
- Knowledge of UNFI ordering is a plus.
- Familiarity with merchandising standards, stock control practices, marketing initiatives, and store operations
- Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in a grocery or retail setting is a plus.
