Competitive and ethical purchasing practices, including vendor relations and best value principles 3. Basic contract administration concepts, including pricing, terms, and compliance requirements 4. Standard office practices and procedures, including filing and the operation of standard office equipment 5. Computer applications and systems used for purchasing and recordkeeping, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and email software. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: - High school diploma or equivalent - Two years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in a school district or public agency - College coursework in business or a related field is desirable WORKING CONDITIONS: - Office environment with frequent interaction by phone, email, and in person - Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
