Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, and pruning to uphold aesthetic standards.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system functionality.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as trimmers and lawnmowers safely and effectively.
• Assist with pesticide management by applying treatments responsibly following safety guidelines and regulations.
• Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or materials to support groundskeeping operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment while adhering to safety protocols for power tool safety.

Skills

• Proven experience with landscape maintenance.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems operation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools necessary for groundskeeping tasks.
• Some understanding of lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and edging.
• Excellent physical stamina with the ability to perform manual handling duties in various weather conditions.
