Solicitation of Interest – Surveyor Appointee
The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners is appointing a vacancy in the Office of Surveyor, commencing on January 1, 2026, and ending on January 12, 2027.
The statutory Surveyor's annual salary for the pending term is $8,297.12, which will remain in effect throughout the appointment period. This does not include any work the County authorizes and contracts.

The Board will consider the following qualifications in making its appointment to the Office of Surveyor pursuant to C.R.S. § 30-10-904:
- Candidate is a citizen of the United States and a resident of the state of Colorado and of the County as of the date of appointment; and
- Candidate provides a complete set of fingerprints to a qualified law enforcement agency; and
- Candidate has not been convicted of or pleaded guilty or entered a plea of nolo contendere to any felony charge under federal or state law; and
- Candidate is a Colorado-licensed professional land surveyor.
The Board has discretion to waive certain requirements and consider additional factors in making its appointment.
