Pediatrics Director, FT Days (55490)

The Director, Pediatrics under the direction of the Administrative Director of Nursing, Nursing Admin is responsible for the management, supervision, and evaluation of patient care with the goal of providing compassionate, coordinated, family-centered care for all patients. The Director, Pediatrics will direct all clinical area personnel to provide safe, high-quality care, using evidence-based practice on a 24-hour basis.  The Director, Pediatrics monitors patient outcomes and process measures, develops, implements and evaluates actions for continuous care improvement in the designated clinical area and is responsible for supervision of the Hospital as assigned by the Administrative Director of Nursing, Nursing Admin.
 

Minimum Position Requirements 

Work Experience

• Two years clinical nursing experience required

License/Registration/Certification:

Certification by Unit

For Emergency Dept. RNs, in addition to above, NRP is required within 12 months and STABLE within 18 months. RN PRN, Contract, and Travelers must have certifications noted above as required by department at the start of assignment/employment. The certifications noted as required within 12/18 months will follow the timeline as specified above.

Education and Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
