The El Dorado County Office of Education, a recognized leader in providing high-quality alternative educational programs, is looking for a talented Instructional Leader to join Mountainside Middle College High School as a part of our charter programs at the Folsom Lake Center. Our instructional format is a hybrid-independent study model. Students come to the school site a minimum of two days per week for classes. Teachers provide instruction and materials to students and families through a learning management system to support at-home learning and instruction. Families meet regularly with their supervising teachers who will guide the parents in at-home instruction, assess student progress, and maintain student records. Our program is looking for an Instructional Leader who can support educators, students, and families in a 9-12 environment and help provide meaningful experiences for students and families. We are looking for a team member that will work directly with the Principal Education Specialist and instructional staff to support general population students and special education students. Job duties will include, but are not limited to:
Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent, and two years of college (48 units), or AA degree (or higher), or pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. Experience required: Prior job related experience.

- Student outreach via phone, zoom, and on-site when applicable.
- Working with special education students
- Student supervision.
- Classroom support.
- Participate in student wellness and student life activities under the supervision of administration and mental health clinicians.
- Help students with work completed in a study hall environment Key characteristics we are looking for:
- Ability to quickly form positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to organize and maintain school records efficiently
- Ability to multi-task between working with documents and interacting with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to fill in with the support necessary to help smoothly run campus with minimal supervision
- Ability to quickly reach proficiency with essential school management
