Duties
- Conduct routine oil changes, fluid replacements, and vehicle inspections with precision and efficiency
- Perform tire services including rotations, replacements, and alignments to optimize vehicle safety and performance
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks accurately
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge to identify necessary repairs
- Assist customers by explaining services performed, recommending additional maintenance or repairs, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper disposal of used fluids in compliance with safety standards
- Support the team with heavy lifting and other maintenance tasks to uphold safety protocols and operational flow
Experience
- Prior dealership or service center experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with automotive service procedures
- Hands-on mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement, tire service, and general vehicle maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs
- Service technician experience that includes automotive repair, mechanical repair, and performing oil changes efficiently
- Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients about vehicle needs and maintenance recommendations
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during vehicle servicing
- Knowledge of alignment procedures, tire balancing, and basic automotive diagnostics is a plus
