El Centro Family Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant I or II, dedicated to serving the needs of our community.
Compensation: $16.50 to $21.69 hourly, commensurate with education and experience for non-certified Pharmacy assistants.
Ideal candidate should possess the following qualities
Under the direction and supervision of the Pharmacist or Nurse Director, the Pharmacy Assistant I maintain clinic drug room in compliance with NM State Board of Pharmacy regulations. The Pharmacy Assistant has access to personal data regarding individual patients and/or their families; an essential job result is the maintenance of a high level of confidentiality of the information processed by the employee.
Minimum Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Min. 2 years in pharmacy or medical setting.
Certification: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS)
(Must be obtained within 3 months of hire).
Preferred Requirements
Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician
Bilingual - (Spanish/English).

- Knowledge and fluent skill of Microsoft Office Excel and Word applications, internet explorer usage.
