Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the start
- Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries with proper phone etiquette
- Assist with guest relations by addressing special requests or concerns courteously and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
- Support food safety protocols by adhering to hygiene standards during guest interactions
Experience
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred
- Experience with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone
- Familiarity with food service operations and guest relations practices
- Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and seating calculations
- Knowledge of POS systems and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Prior experience in food safety protocols is a plus

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
