Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and food safety
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and resetting dining areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness for new guests
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to foster positive guest relations
- Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing reservations through OpenTable or similar platforms and seating guests efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub backgrounds
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
- Previous experience with serving, upselling techniques, and guest relations is highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
