As a Senior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in:
- Labor Relations Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive labor relations strategies aligned by our mission, vison, and values.
- Labor Contract Negotiations: Serve as a lead negotiator in contract negotiations. Use appropriate negotiation strategies to develop bargaining goals and negotiate contracts.
- Grievance management: Provide guidance to leadership by contract interpretation and perform investigations on informal and formal grievances.
- Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by promoting a fair and equitable work environment.
- Helping create pathways for leaders to obtain information seamlessly.
- Helping educate leaders on proper processes and getting deep understanding of their operations
- Operating at an executive and stakeholder level to influence decisions impacting employee health
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 5-7 years of robust experience human resources, business partner or leader experience
- Direct experience working with unions, including supporting unionized environments and participating in contract administration or negotiations
- Union areas include: Food service, Laundry, EVS, Logistics, and CNAs
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills
- Excellent knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships
- Strong organization and time management skills
