Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Preschool Teacher at Ekobé School of Learning, located in San Diego, CA. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, designing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment, and nurturing the development of young children. The role also involves communicating effectively with parents, staff, and children to promote a collaborative and holistic approach to early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education : 12 ECE units (including Infant and Toddler units) or higher
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, Curriculum Development, and Early Childhood Education methodologies
- Strong Communication skills and ability to work well with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge and experience in Kindergarten education and child development
- Passion for educating and fostering the growth and well-being of young children
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in Early Childhood Education (Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Mandated Reporter Certification
- Prior experience in a preschool or kindergarten teaching environment is highly valued
