Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Irvine, CA, for a Driver at Ekedal Concrete, Inc. The Driver will be responsible for operating trucks to transport materials and equipment safely to and from designated worksites. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles for safety and maintenance, securing cargo, and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. The role involves clear communication with team members, adherence to company policies, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Truck Driving and possession of a valid CDL Class A license
- Agree to drug test and background check
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and clients
- Excellent Customer Service skills for professional and courteous interactions
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections and follow all safety protocols
- Previous experience in transportation or logistics is a plus (for a construction/materials company)
- Knowledge of local and federal transportation regulations
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed
