Summary: The Sales Team Lead position will play a key role in leading the team of Sales Representatives in achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. The position will coach and mentor team members, ensuring that sales strategies are executed effectively, and strong relationships with key clients are maintained.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

· Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to exceed individual and team sales goals
· Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share
· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers
· Conduct regular sales training and coaching sessions, to ensure sales team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
· Monitor sales performance and provide reports to senior management regarding trends, projections, etc.
· Ensure all sales activities are compliant with company policies and procedures
· Remain current with industry trends and market conditions, to identify new business opportunities
· Provide exceptional customer service to maintain customer loyalty and satisfaction
· Guide sales team to function efficiently, by capitalizing on their passions and capabilities
· All other duties as assigned
Work Environment: This is a physically demanding job, in a fast-paced environment and industry. No day will be the same and will include a mix of phone, email, and counter sales. Critical thinking and the ability to maintain task lists/organization will be crucial.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This role will have direct supervisory responsibilities of the sales team and counter sales.

Education and/or Experience:
· Associate or bachelor's degree in sales or related field
· 5 years of previous sales or customer service experience (experience in the fastener or industrial supply industry a plus)
· 3 years of experience in a leadership role
· Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Passion for sales and commitment to continuous professional development
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
· Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Solid understanding of sales principles and practices
· Industry/fastener knowledge highly preferred
Language Skills: The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
Reasoning Ability: Strong reasoning, customer service, active listening, and good interpersonal skills are required.
